Day 13 Easter Antics

Because I work for a company that never closes, I end up working on holidays. Easter is no exception. This didn't mean that I was going to have fun with it though. Saturday night I stayed late in the office and "hid" a candy filled plastic egg in each co-workers cubicle that had to work the holiday.

I had to hide them on Saturday so that the first shift wouldn't see me hiding them when I came in on 2nd shift. It was interesting watching my coworkers try to guess who had left the eggs. Some knew immediately that it was me. Others had no clue. To add to the silliness I wore my bunny ears (a headband with rabbit ears in white and pink) The office got a kick out the ears.

It was nice to see my coworkers talking about my silliness and the mystery of the eggs, rather then grumbling about being at work.

Later in the afternoon one of my coworkers asked how I had made a banner for another coworkers birthday. It was a simple Word template, but the woman isn't that good with computers. When I asked her why she mentioned that our co-worker who is out on medical will be coming back soon and she wanted to make a banner for her. I offered to make the banner for her.

It only took a few minutes to complete. It's the little things that can make or break an office environment.
