The craziest time of the year.

This time of the year always seems to be so crazy. Not only is there the Christmas chaos of gifts and planning visits with relatives, but it's also the end of the school term so there are conferences with teachers and, this year, putting in high school applications.

The photography studio has also been very busy with several photo sessions for clients and a trip to New York City to photograph a museum and a few other things. I enjoy being in the city. It's very full of life and there are always interesting people to see.

While I was there I saw the Rockettes perform their Christmas show. It was fabulous and not what I had expected. I had gone with a friend. The next day I found out that my aunt was in the same audience with me and my uncle was on 42nd St. The irony of that is still making me smile.

While I was away Tim took Random for a haircut and Corwin spent the weekend with friends. Random look so cute with the new haircut. Short hair really suits him. When it gets long it all stands up, like an anime character. Corwin showed off his new paintball gear that he will be wearing this weekend for a competition. I tried paintball once. Those balls hurt - never again.

Random wants to do paintball for his birthday. I wonder if any of his friends realize what they are actually getting into. That will definitely be a "Daddy will take you" type party if it actually happens. His birthday is 6 months away so who knows what will change by then.
